“We die, but so do stars—and their beauty comes from burning.” This piece is beautiful and magical and wow.

Wow. This really resonates with me. The sky is the view we all share. Ever ancient, ever new. Leave a legacy of light. Beautiful.

“And you my child will be called the prophet of the most high, for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way, to give His people knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of our sins.

In the tender compassion of our God, the dawn from on high shall break upon us, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death and to guide our feet in the way of peace.” Canticle of Zechariah

Luke 1:68-79

A great share. I think that death does not define life, but I understand the context. There is a light that has never dimmed and will never dim, and we can be like Him. I wish I could phrase what I really mean to say, but I have to go to work. 👍🏼

Thank you for this. Some of the scripture quotes are new to me. Your story reminds me of 'Constellations ' by Jack Johnson. I was listening to a live version from 2012 just released to Spotify last night. Also, when our family went on vacation, at the Outer Banks, the night sky was so amazing and we could see the Milky Way clearly. 🌌
