Dear Laura,

Your words meant so much to me. They brought clarity and beauty to issues I am wrestling with, as you are. And your example is tremendously helpful as well. I am praying for your return to good health.

Oh wow. I never really pondered 'Light from Light' before and your reflection stopped me in my tracks. What a beautiful truth.

“We cannot see what comes next but it can save us.“ Holding onto your words as I prepare for mass this afternoon. I say the creed all the time but almost never really pray the creed. Your words woke me up this morning (literally, too. This was my first read if the morning as I sip my coffee and snuggles with the littles)

I used to want a map for life, but found I’d just choose my own course anyway, regardless.

I used to think that “why” was the right thing to ask and we should ask why until we can’t anymore.

I learned that “why” does little even if answered.

But “what” - “what” is the question. “What shall I do?” “What do you want?” How often is the answer

“Let it go. Remain with me.”
