this is powerful, and well described. I call the before: The Great Before, and the after: The Cautiously Hopeful After. Thank you for sharing this. I am glad you are here in the After. You are not alone here.

Love this: The Cautiously Hopeful After. Feels like every morning I peek my head around the corner and wonder if it's safe to step out here again. Helps to remember how many of us are here, too.
