This brought me to tears. I loved this especially:

"For now, may we be content

with one more ring.

Knowing not what lies ahead,

let us grow here now."

What a beautiful prayer.

“New growth is always on the outside. What is most ancient is held closest to the heart.” Wowowowowow.

This is simply beautiful, such a tribute to the growth and record of a marriage that has recorded many hard things and still keeps growing. I’ve always loved knowing that the rings on a tree tell their own story, wide or narrow, the rings counted regardless of their size. Gorgeous writing.
