How many will we get?
This brought me to tears. I loved this especially:
"For now, may we be content
with one more ring.
Knowing not what lies ahead,
let us grow here now."
What a beautiful prayer.
“New growth is always on the outside. What is most ancient is held closest to the heart.” Wowowowowow.
This is simply beautiful, such a tribute to the growth and record of a marriage that has recorded many hard things and still keeps growing. I’ve always loved knowing that the rings on a tree tell their own story, wide or narrow, the rings counted regardless of their size. Gorgeous writing.
You wrote it like a ring. Equisite. 💖
Poetry...all of this. Thank you for this.
Absolutely beautiful, touched my heart & mind & soul, thank you! I am reading this as I sit in the waiting room to get an ultrasound on my right breast as a follow up diagnostic 🙏 thank you for this read which gives hope and security in our Father above 🙌
So very beautiful, brought so many tears as a breast cancer survivor too. Your writing is just so beautiful, I don’t have the words to even describe how amazing it is, truly. Thank you❤️
Such a beautiful piece Laura. Thank you for sharing your gift of writing and your hard-earned wisdom. It’s such a blessing for all of us who read your work 🙏🏼❤️
