Thank you for the beautiful gift today and the reminder of the sacredness of holding life at the beginning and the end. Sunday would have been my brother's 60th birthday, I imagine Jesus as the first one to hold him in heaven, and maybe, just maybe, my brother and sister, who died before my dad, were the first to hold Dad in heaven. Thank you again for all you do to bring us closer to Him.
Every time you put pen to paper, do you think about how many people will be blessed by your words that are made holy by God? If not, please remember this and that your gift of words, of story, of deep reflection touched me deeply this morning and every time I read what you write.
This reflection filled me with warmth, sent goosebumps racing from scalp to torso, and brought tears to my eyes. This is so gorgeous and so profound, Laura, and I think you’ve unlocked some images and metaphors I have not considered or prayed with before. A thousand thank yous.
Holy, holy, holy . . . this reflection, these possibilities, those who might have as well as those who did, and you, dear one.. Holy, holy, holy! Laura, what a gift you are! You’ve touched me so deeply . . . from our birth through our life to our death we too are held! What an amazing and holy parallel.

You’ve written so many beautiful and profound stories. This one goes above all the others in its beauty and sacredness. Thank you!
Sacred are the moments we are privileged to witness- birth, death, labor, blood, and water, first steps, last breaths.
Present and a witness- imitation of God.

Also I just shared it with ALL my group chats, even my young adult children 😂
This is beautiful. Thank you for such a thoughtful piece.
Thank you for this beautiful Christmas gift ❤️
So beautiful, thank you. Made me cry on this 4th Sunday in Advent. Better than anything else I read this morning.
What a beautiful meditation.🙏🥰
