Want to hang out in January?
I’ve been hard at work at something I can’t wait to show you.
As 2020 draws to a close, I’ve been wondering what might come next. After such a long, hard year, I’ve found myself wrestling with big questions, personally and professionally.
In the past year, I had a baby. And quit my job. While the world turned upside down.
Nothing turned out the way I expected.
But as 2021 dawns, I’m picking up the pieces and saying: ok, God. What now?
Where am I called next? What does this moment in history demand of me? What path should I take? What is God asking of me in the next year? How can I respond?
As a writer and speaker, I love to ask big questions in good company. So I wanted to create a new space for gathering and reflecting together—on our lives, our world, and our God.
Epiphany: A New Year’s Retreat is that time and space, for prayer and discernment.
I want to help you enter into the new year and look ahead with hope to where God may be calling you.
The retreat is virtual, coming to you in the comfort of your own home, to fit your own schedule.
From Jan. 7-10, 2021, we’ll meet each day on Zoom—and you’ll have a 40-page companion e-book to guide your prayer and reflection throughout the retreat.
Together we’ll explore the beginning of the Gospel of Matthew: surprising dreams, unexpected visitors, turbulent times, and life-changing callings.
We hear the stories from Matthew so often in Advent and Christmas that we can forget their depth. These are tales of startling callings and real people who said yes to God (when no would have been easier). Stories we need right now.
So I hope you’ll join me this January to make a retreat together.

Reach out with questions – or if you wonder how to make this work for your life. (Sliding scale fees and scholarships are available if you need.)
I’m here for you. And Epiphany is here for all of us.
Peace,
Laura
